Parks and Recreation of Topeka will host the 28th Annual Kansas Senior Olympics competition beginning Thursday, Sept. 22 through Monday, Oct. 3.
The Senior Olympics offers competition in 18 sports including Archery, Badminton, 3 on 3 Basketball, Bowling, Cycling, Golf, Horseshoes, Pickleball, Racquetball, Road Races, Shuffleboard, Softball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track and Field and Volleyball.
Interested participants must be at least age 50 by Dec. 31, 2011. Registrations will be accepted through Friday, Aug. 26 and the entry fee is $50 per individual athlete or $300 per softball team.
